Job Description

As an ESG Analyst you are part of the Responsible Investment team in the CIO with hub in Frankfurt. Run the monthly production of ESG signals, especially ensure quality of the results, explain movers etc. This includes intelligent detection and fixing of data issues, breaks etc, which requires interaction with the data vendors and DWS technology and operations Provide one-stop service for ad-hoc queries from the business on implemented ESG methodology and ESG results. This requires in-depth understanding of the implemented business logic. This e.g. includes interaction with Investment Guideline team on validity of compliance alerts. Run statistical analysis and resulting documentation on a certain ESG topic (e.g. the relationship between 2 ESG signals), and code it as business logic so that this piece of analysis becomes an auto-updating service to the platform. Support core team in Frankfurt team by continuously enhancing and maintaining the business logic in the DWS ESG engine for the aforementioned tasks. Compile documentation of implemented ESG logic and train/support the platform.Transaction coordination – both internally as well as with clients / 3rd parties (other banks, law firms, auditors etc.)
