Job Description

As a machine learning data scientist for Fraud and Risk, you will focus on the development of fraud detection/risk analysis algorithms to build customisable risk engines. This will entail proactively identifying various data sources and developing robust techniques to detect anomalous patterns in them. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment in a highly cross-functional team with business and product stakeholders and leverage our robust Big Data infrastructure. Partner with Engineering, Product and Operations teams to conceive, design & monitor fraud detection strategies. Develop innovative techniques and statistical models to operationalize these strategies. Use these techniques to analyze large datasets involving user and transaction data to surface patterns and insights. Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to shape future projects and provide recommendations for actions. Rapidly prototype solutions and drive/be involved in product and feature discussions. Create dashboards and reports to regularly communicate results and monitor key data metrics. Be actively involved in taking models to production for (streaming services) and batch applications.
