Job Description

Operational responsibility for Alcon Supply Chain reporting and analytics.  Leverage APMR, SAP BW, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive capabilities. Become a strategic partner and collaborate with S&OP, MTO, and Finance team to deliver accurate and value-adding insights. Assist team in developing and rolling out industry-leading analytical models (predictive), tools and systems that enhance and advance business processes and decision-making.  Identify and implement industry best metrics/dashboards utilizing Tableau (SAP/AWS). This involves modelling and scenario planning to build models for inventory optimization, capacity planning, network modelling, and warehouse/distribution. Serve as point of contact for successful publication of all Tableau dashboards and day-to-day operational support.  It will also involve serving as a point of contact to resolve any issues or answer any queries related to data/methodology. Identify industry wide practices/KPIs and gather any Alcon unique requirements to develop and deploy Tableau dashboards.  Collaborate with global, regional, and market S&OP teams to design, create use case scenarios, and validate dashboards.  Assist with rollout of agile methodologies and implementation of Jira for Alcon Global Supply Chain Analytics. Demonstrate team leadership and responsible for coaching, mentoring, and directly supervising junior associates to ensure deliverables are being met on time. Lead discussions on analytics capabilities and collaborate with Planning Excellence team to identify potential new KPIs and determine data extraction/transformation needs.
